At UJ we take immense pride in the accomplishments of our students, and today, we share some exciting news about one of our Clinical Research PhD students, Amanda Robinson.

Recently, Amanda attended the Indiana Academy of Science (IAS) conference in Indianapolis, where she presented a poster titled Does Phage Therapy Make Sense? showcasing her research in the Microbiology and Molecular Biology division. Not only did she represent UJ and our PhD in Clinical Research program with professionalism and passion, but she also walked away with a first-place award in the prestigious “Emerging Scientist” category.

As the Director of the PhD in Clinical Research program, Kristin Lefebvre, PT, PhD shared,  “I’m proud to see Amanda’s efforts recognized on such a prominent stage. Her dedication to advancing scientific knowledge embodies the spirit of discovery that we encourage at UJ, and it’s inspiring to see her make such a positive impact early in her career.”

“This is a great achievement, not just for Amanda, but for our program as a whole. Her success reflects the dedication, curiosity, and hard work that we try and instill in all our students. It’s also a testament to the supportive environment created by our faculty and peers, where students can thrive and achieve their full potential.”

The University is currently accepting students for the Fall semester of 2025. Those interested in learning more about one of the only universities in the world with an accredited, all-online PhD in Clinical Research, program, as well as how to apply, can visit UJ.edu/Clinical-Research.
